It’s official: the plan to redevelop Pete’s Harbor into an upscale waterfront community with 411 apartments and a small marina moves forward. Redwood City continues to invite development, and ponders how to integrate downtown with the Inner Harbor. They’re working toward public access, a greenbelt park along the creek, and a promenade and bike trails connecting the area to downtown. One resident suggested adopting this Dutch design for a round bridge that rises over 101, connecting downtown and the waterfront. Whatever the final plan, we’re betting on a rejuvenated Docktown that draws more residents and visitors to Redwood City.
