Our realtor colleague Steve Tenbroeck has a created an eye-ball popping chart that shows the inventory of active listings compared to the 15 year averages for Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Portola Valley and Atherton. This chart tells the story of what’s going on in our market. There’s normally 66 listings in Palo Alto, but there’s only 18 right now. Only Atherton and Portola Valley have some semblance of normal inventory. Thanks for the analysis, Steve.
